Area Sales Manager (South/South East Ireland)
Agri-Lloyd – The Secret’s in the Science – is seeking a driven Area Sales Manager to lead and inspire a team of independent sales agents across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader in ruminant nutrition and health products, with a legacy of innovation and excellence since 1984.
About the Role
As an ASM, you’ll be at the forefront of our sales operations, managing your own territory, building strong relationships with customers and key opinion leaders, and driving sales performance. You’ll work closely with the Product Manager and wider team to deliver exceptional service and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets across your territory
- Plan and execute efficient field visits and maintain detailed customer records
- Gather and analyse market and competitor insights
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and industry influencers
- Deliver impactful presentations and attend key agricultural shows
- Use CRM tools and sales data to inform strategy and decision-making
- Provide detailed daily reports and contribute to regular planning meetings
- Share best practices and collaborate with colleagues in regional sales meetings
What You’ll Bring
Knowledge & Experience:
- Strong understanding of dairy farming
- Higher education in agriculture or equivalent practical experience
- Customer service mindset and commercial awareness
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organisational abilities
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM systems
Attitude:
